Rajrajeshvari
Rajrajeshvari, literally 'one who rules over even the king of kings' is an aspect of Devi Parvati or Lalita, whose emblem is the Srichakra. The Devi is the Mistress of even Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshvar as also Kuber, the lord of wealth, each of whom is known as 'king of kings'. Her temple is at Dewalgarh, in Pauri Garhwal (Uttarakhand, India).

Born 14.1.1953 at Lucknow (U.P. India) & a Post-graduate in Ancient Indian History and Archaeology, I have been writing poems especially haiku for the last 25 years. Presently working on a collection of my poems. Also involved in the translation of folk songs of Garhwal(Uttarakhand),medieval Hindi poets, Kabir, Raidas and Surdas,modern Hindi poets like Ajneya, Trilochan and Leeladhar Jagoodi, and Urdu poets like Mir,Ghalib and Firaq Gorakhpuri. Work has appeared on a number of websites. Have also written a monograph on 'Sports/Games in Ancient Indian Art and Archaeology' and working on a thesis 'Urbanisation under the Mauryas'. For some strange reason, here short lines tickle my fancy.And this,THIS thing right here got me thinking, and thing, for a very very long time. I am still trying to figure it out whilst commenting .
