amaltaas blooms
bright yellow in the sun~
leaves go hiding
...
hot winds all day~
golden chains of amaltaas
are blown away
...
in the park
row of amaltaas -
a yellow canopy
...
morning walk~
skipping the fallen flowers
of amaltaas

(Note: Amaltaas, or Laburnum, which blooms in India in the early summer, is also called the Golden Chain Tree, obviously because its yellow attractive flowers hang like a chain from its branches.)
